One can never love their mother more than the way she will love you as there is some divine element which is so deep rooted and simply unmatchable. We are worth nothing if not for our mother.

It's been 2 and a half decades since this pristine composition celebrating motherhood saw the daylights and nobody better to depict it than Superstar and put to tune by Maestro who showcases the divinity through Kalyani raga infusing the sound of temple bells and employing heartfelt strings. Divine Motherly Experience!

I went to Reliance Time Out store in Park Square Mall, Bangalore a while ago and was just flipping a book. Then suddenly Amma Endrazhikkadha from Mannan was being played and I got a very pleasant feeling. Then the song 'En Thaiyenum Kovil' from Aranmanai Kizhi started playing, a song which I've never heard before and it just made me so emotional and moved that I started walking towards where the music was played.

It was a feeling which cannot be explained in words. A fellow shopper asked one of the attendants which CD was this and he immediately purchased a copy. I told this person today's choice of songs played was very nice and he smiled.

There is nothing in this world greater than Mother's Love and Ilaiyaraaja's music infuses the purity and makes you feel so much for your mother. With nobody's music you get impacted so much. There is some sort of divinity and magic in his music which can never be explained.
