To Mom,With Love

There is a person who is the most important in my life.
She gave birth to me.
She does everything for me.
She will continue to do everything for me.

The word 'Mother' conveys so many different emotions apart from just being the person who has given you the existence in this world.
Mother's true value can never be expressed in words (Because the best is always yet to come :) I keep realising the true value more now since im staying alone )
Nobody can ever be as selfless as a mother

I can proudly and befittingly say despite how many ever efforts I take 'I can Never Ever Love my Mom,the way she loves me'.

On the occassion of Mother's Day I would like to dedicate this beautiful song in Kalyani Ragam to all the Mothers in this world.
Frankly speaking i dont believe in this concept of Mother's Day more so because a mother deserves to be celebrated every day of the year but still we dont always think about our mother(s) so atleast on this day we can reflect about our mother's immense contribution in our personal growth.

Now coming to the song,Kalyani is a Raga soaked in Divinity..
And there is nothing more divine in this world than a Mother

The song opens with the sounds of the temple bells and then the Veena takes over playing the notes Ni Sa Sa,Ni Sa Sa,Ni Sa Ri Ga Pa Ga Ri Sa Ni.From there its a nostalgic trip executed in the voice of KJ Yesudass set to Music by the Maestro.

The song employs a lot of Veena in fritters which is used to convey that extra which only a Mother can do.

And then the 2nd interlude where the Veena and Flute both co-exist in glorifying the Mother is Majestic.

This song is very emotional and close to my heart, reason being its about my most favouritest person in this world.
There can never be anything more pure and natural than Mother's Love.
